Empowering you to embrace Ethically Sourced Hair Extensions
Why Ethical Sourcing is important to us?
The human hair market is still largely unregulated, making it hard to track down how the hair is sourced. This consequently leaves the ethical aspect of the process shrouded in ambiguity. Further, the increasing demand for hair extensions has created a surge in the number of people purchasing hair extensions, tragically leading to the exploitation of women all over the world.
At Showpony, our commitment lies in ensuring our products and our business practices embody our ethical and moral principles. We strongly believe that no one should be forced to sell their precious locks against their volition — that’s why sustainability and ethical practices across the entire supply chain are our primary focuses.
At Showpony, we are passionate about providing hair extensions that are ethically sourced. We believe the Hair Industry should be transparent about hair extension sourcing, watch our video below to understand how Showpony Hair is sourced in an ethical manor and ensure the highest quality hair extensions are provided for all our customers globally.
The Supplier Code of Conduct (SCoC) serves the purpose of ensuring that the suppliers of Showpony and subsidiaries demonstrate responsible business conduct by managing risks regarding Environment, Social and Governance.
At Showpony, we believe that our success is deeply intertwined with the values and practices of our suppliers. Our Supplier Code of Conduct reflects our unwavering commitment to ethical business practices, respect for human rights, and environmental sustainability. Together, we can drive meaningful change, ensuring that our operations and supply chain reflect the highest levels of integrity, responsibility, and care for people and the planet. We are committed to working collaboratively with our suppliers, offering guidance and support to align with these principles, and reinforcing our shared dedication to ethical and sustainable business practices.
All hair donations are given willingly and with full consent. The sourcing of unethical clip-in-hair extensions is prohibited, and we reserve the right to review any supplier agreements where compliance with the Supplier Code of Conduct is breached. We systematically review our supplier relationships and continuously monitor the social and economic environments in which they operate to ensure efficacy and sustainability across the board.
